Thea True-Wells joined the Science Friday board in 2019. Thea is a Wyoming native who has been professionally involved with formal and informal pre-K-12 education for over two decades. She has facilitated science outreach efforts to low-income elementary schools and taught both middle and high school science courses in public and private schools.
Her current passions include expanding dual language immersion programs throughout Wyoming, creating the Wyoming Museum of Science and Industry, and making basic coding skills more accessible to students of all ages. She is married, has four children, and an occasional exchange student.
