Sarah Goldfarb isa grants associate at Science Friday, where she’s perfecting her fundraising skills with guidance from Annie Nero and Jen Fenwick. She’s a native of Charlottesville, Virginia, a place resplendent with natural beauty and in many ways the antithesis of New York City. Despite the difference, Sarah loves both places equally, and currently resides in Brooklyn.
Prior to working at Science Friday, Sarah became interested in public media as a student at Barnard College, hosting a classic rock radio show on WBAR, the student-run station. She still misses the tiny basement studio, lined wall to wall with albums and posters.
After spending a bit more time in Virginia after graduation, Sarah began working at Science Friday in November 2014. Her favorite segment would have to be “Charting Music’s Big Revolutions,” due to her passion for the subject and a desire to argue the merits of pop music. She also enjoys movies and eating all of the ice cream in the Tri-State area.
