Richard Holmes is a writer and biographer based in Norwich, England. His many books include Falling Upwards: How We Took to the Air (Pantheon, 2013) and The Age of Wonder, which won the Royal Society Prize for Science Books and the National Books Critics Circle Award, and which was a New York Times Book Review’s Best Books of the Year.
