Lauren Avant is a 7th-grade STEAM Life Science teacher. In 2015, Lauren graduated from Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she began teaching at Richmond Hill Middle School where she has remained for the past 6 years. Lauren has played many roles in helping her school develop its STEAM program. These roles include; STEAM Professional Learning Community Lead, Materials Committee Head, and building STEAM curriculum. She has also held roles as Science Department Head and 7th grade Science PLC Lead.
