Karen Bakker is the Director of the Program on Water Governance at The University of British Columbia’s Institute for Resources, Environment, and Sustainability. She is a researcher of digital innovation and environmental governance, and the author of The Sounds of Life: How Digital Technology Is Bringing Us Closer to the World of Animals and Plants.
