Brenna Berman, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience at the forefront of innovation, technology, and government, joined the Board of Directors of Science Friday in 2024. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to addressing complex challenges within cities. Previously, Ms. Berman held the position of Chief Information Officer for the City of Chicago and was the founder of the City Tech Collaborative—an innovative platform fostering public-private partnerships to tackle urban issues with sustainable, scalable solutions.
Currently, Brenna Berman serves as the Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Dense Air, a pioneering network-as-a-service company dedicated to narrowing the digital divide. She is a graduate of the College of the University of Chicago, where she earned her B.A., and holds an MPP from the Harris School of Public Policy.
