  • Ira Flatow is the award-winning host of Science Friday, heard on public radio stations across the country and distributed by WNYC Studios. He brings radio and podcast listeners worldwide a lively, informative discussion on science, technology, health, space, the environment and more. Flatow describes his work as the challenge “to make science and technology a topic for discussion around the dinner table.”
  • Dr. Jackie Faherty is a PhD astrophysicist at the American Museum of Natural History, working at the forefront of characterizing the atmospheres of worlds beyond our solar system. In her unique position at AMNH, she creates innovative and immersive public-facing programs in the planetarium that are accessible to students and the general public alike.
  • Dr. Céline Gounder is an internationally renowned internist, infectious disease specialist, and epidemiologist. Trained at Princeton University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Washington, and Harvard University, she is the senior fellow and editor-at-large for Public Health at KFF Health News. Dr. Gounder is also a clinical associate professor of medicine and infectious diseases at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine, and cares for patients at Bellevue Hospital Center.
  • Dr. Kevin Reed is the Chief Climate Scientist at The New York Climate Exchange, leading the strategic direction and co-development of research programs with a diverse set of academic, industry, and community partners. Dr. Reed is also the Associate Provost for Climate and Sustainability Programming at Stony Brook University, responsible for facilitating and enabling campus-wide activities and initiatives on climate-related topics.
