Rising Ocean Temps Could Shrink Ocean Habitats

6:27 minutes

Increasing ocean temperatures decrease the amount of oxygen available for marine life. Reporting in Science, oceanographer Curtis Deutsch and colleagues describe the effects on four different species—cod, sea bream, eelpout, and rock crab. Deutsch discusses how much habitat these species could lose by the end of the century.
