Science Friday is taking our radio series Science Goes To The Movies to movie theaters around the country to reveal the science behind some of our favorite films! This time, we’re teaming up with the Davis Theater to present Annihilation, the 2018 sci-fi thriller that follows a group of scientists and soldiers into a mysterious quarantined zone caused by something otherworldly.

Following the film, we will host a live conversation with local experts ready to explore the science, technology, and biology from the movie. Stay tuned for more information!

Please note: Annihilation is rated R; anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of the film.
