Phallacy-SciFri in the Studio
On May 18, 2007, Ira discussed science and art with chemist and playwright Carl Djerassi, whose new play "Phallacy" opened that night in New York. They were joined by actor Simon Jones (you might recognize him from "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life") who played the chemist in Phallacy, and Alfred Vendl, the real-life chemist whom the scientist character was based on. The video was shot in the NPR studio in New York City. Shot and produced by Flora Lichtman. Viewed 650 times.
