How To Rate Energy Star?
Many shoppers look for the Energy Star seal when choosing appliances. But is it time for the program to tighten its standards? A recent survey by Consumer Reports found that over 35% of all products sold in certain categories were awarded the Energy Star rating -- and that while there were savings to be realized by buying more energy efficient devices, larger savings could be attained by making other changes. We'll find out more.
