Danica McKellar, Girls, and Math
Actress and author Danica McKellar joins us to talk about getting young girls fired up about mathematics. Her new book, 'Hot X: Algebra Exposed,' was released this week. In the past, she's written books on basic math ('Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail') and pre-algebra ('Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who's Boss'). We'll talk about how to bring algebra to a wider, not always appreciative, audience.
