In 1910, the Weather Bureau (now the National Weather Service) began offering weekly forecasts to aid in agriculture. Now, the government is proposing the creation of a similar service, focused instead on climate change and its effects. In this segment, NOAA Administrator Jane Lubchenco discusses the proposal for the creation of a 'National Climate Service.'
