Kids' Science Challenge
We'll talk about the Kids' Science Challenge, a NSF-funded competition that challenges third through sixth grade students to come up with problems that can be solved via science. The program is now in its second year. Teams this year will focus on topics including bio-inspired designs, sports that would be suitable for play on Mars, and forensic science. We'll talk with contest creator Jim Metzner about the challenge and its goals.
