Being a scientist, I plug into your show weekly. I found your discussion of cloning very balanced, but I also found my opinion underrepresented. Assuming that human cloning was technologically feasible today, the U.S. government would probably pass legislation preventing its implementation. I think that it is imperative that our scientists and journalists work to educate the general public about the concepts behind and possible benefits of human cloning. This action will help to eliminate those opposing human cloning due to ignorance and fear. This shift in public understanding will prevent the government from hindering the progress of researchers in the future as these technologies are developed.

This also lends itself to another topic for a second show...The increasing information gap between scientists and the non-scientific lay public, and the problems this deficit presents to the advancement of science.
