A note from Ira
Some of you have told us that you are dissatisfied with the new format of our podcasts. Others are quite happy with it. We've read your comments, and we hear what you're saying. While the podcasts and Science Friday are free for you, it takes time, staff and resources to create the show and the podcasts. And we have to pay for that somehow (since NPR pays only 10% of our budget). The new longer format allows us to make sure we can keep bringing Science Friday and our podcasts to you. The podcasts are also available as mobile apps for your iPhone, iPad and Android; those may offer you a better option if you are unhappy. We will also be coming out with a new mobile app version that may allow you to pick and choose segments. Thanks, Ira.
