The Fallen Leaves

Remember a couple weeks ago, before superstorm Sandy, when there were leaves on the trees? Beautiful fall-colored leaves? No? Don't worry, we have a record of it.
 
Before Halloween we asked you to add to our leaf pile. And... wow. Lots of you followed the admittedly not-so-easy instructions and sent in beautiful photos. Thank you! The results are below. For a closer look at some of the contributions, check out the slideshow above. Or go to our Flickr page to see who deserves credit for the images. And if you still have leaves, send in your photos. We'll keep adding to the pile.
