Rover Finds Ancient Stream Bed on Mars

NASA's rover has discovered an ancient stream bed on Mars. (See image above.)
 
Of course the stream bed is no longer wet, but there are a number of signs for the water even before Curiosity arrived: satellite images showed evidence of water flowing down from a hillside:

Most fascinating is the similarity to outcroppings on earth where water was once present to those on Mars.
