Spider Specifics

by The Bug Chicks

This episode of The Bug Chicks is devoted to spiders! We talk about the reasons why people are freaked out by spiders and why these animals look the way they do. And there's a special guest appearance by Ava, the Chilean rose hair tarantula.

Bug Chicks Remix Challenge: Pick one of these three spiders: Chaco golden knee, green lynx, or fishing spider. Find out about its hunting method! Use books or the internet to discover what it likes to eat. See if you can figure out why it looks the way it does!
