How To Turn $4 Gas Into $2 Gas
by Ira Flatow
Simple. Buy a car that gets 40-50 miles per gallon. I keep seeing so many “hints” from the media about how to save money driving: no jack rabbit starts, driver slower, yada, yada. Even saw one on ABC TV that told us not to brake! But can’t remember seeing one that concentrated on the long term: buy a car that gets high gas mileage – or uses no gasoline. Shouldn’t this be the message of this gas price hike?
Why recycle advice from the 70′s when we should be looking towards the future?
