Want to feel humbled? Meet the winners of the Oceans 2030: Youth Outlook Multimedia Contest. On top of loads of teen spirit, these kids have skills. Many of these not-yet-independent filmmakers (most were under 18) wrote, shot and directed their videos in about a week.

The winners agreed to a quick beige-carpet interview in the atrium of the Ronald Reagan Convention Center. First stop NCSE Oceans conference, next stop Entertainment Tonight. Seriously.

And don’t miss the Pick of the Week — one of the videos that took top honors here. Can you spot the tripod blooper?
