The Science Friday Initiative, Founded by Ira Flatow in 2003, is a 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to advancing science education opportunities. The Initiative helps fund Science Friday and is an easy way for you to support your favorite radio program with a tax-deductible donation.

2. Become an Advertising Sponsor

Science Friday currently has three distinct advertising opportunities, in addition to radio program sponsorship opportunities, so that you can effortlessly promote your business to our great audience.

• ScienceFriday.com: Web site tile advertisements are available on the ScienceFriday.com Web site for a monthly rate. The tiles are 120 pixels wide by 240 pixels tall and will rotate on every ScienceFriday.com page. Each month we receive more than 120,000 impressions with an average visitor time of 4 minutes.

• Science Friday Podcasts: A very popular sponsorship opportunity is with the Science Friday podcasts, which receive over 500,000 downloads per week and are regularly found within the “Top 10” of iTunes podcast listings. This is a unique opportunity because the podcasts are hosted indefinitely on iTunes.

• Science Friday Radio: Another popular option is underwriting the Science Friday broadcast so your business can be heard by over 1.3 million radio listeners per week, on over 300 radio stations including Sirius Satellite radio. This is a great way to have your business reach our dedicated audience.

• SciFri Videos: Our videos are growing in popularity and receive over 1 million views per year on the ScienceFriday.com Web site alone. These videos are distributed to over 40 science partners worldwide and are available for sponsorship. Watch the latest video.
